Le LASIR (Laboratoire de Spectroscopie Infrarouge et Raman) est une unité mixte du CNRS (UMR 8516) et de l'Université des Sciences et Technologies de LILLE (USTL) située sur le campus de Villeneuve d'Ascq. Il est ainsi rattaché à l'UFR de Chimie. Le LASIR s'est développé autour des techniques de la spectroscopie de vibration. Nos chercheurs et ingénieurs ont ainsi acquis une culture scientifique largement pluridisciplinaire. Les savoir-faire lillois sont, outre une large compétence en spectroscopie de vibration, une originalité reconnue en instrumentation et spectrométrie laser qui ont contribué à faire du LASIR un pôle national en spectroscopie de vibration, conformément à la mission définie par le CNRS.
